Joseph was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. In 2002 and 2003 he attended The Providence Institute where he completed their 1200 hour massage and Shiatsu program. Immediately after graduation he was hired on at The Providence Institute where he worked for 6 years until they closed in 2009. During this time he worked on a wide variety of clients which paralleled the diversity of Tucson its self. This has included retirees in town to enjoy the mild winters, weekend warriors, stressed employees, stressed grad students, collegiate/prep athletes, collegiate/professional performers, and people who just want to enjoy and relax with a good massage.
Since gaining his license in 2003 Joseph has also had extensive continuing education. This includes classes and workshops in deep tissue techniques, reflexology, energetic bodywork, Chi Nei Tsang, and hot stone. These are along with becoming attuned to level 1 and 2 in the Usui and Shamballa systems of Reiki, before attending The Providence Institute. All of these have created an extensive repertoire of skills and modalities that can be utilized to create a unique bodywork session for every client and circumstance.
